Lone Wolf Bakery’s New Silverdale Café

Exciting news for Lancaster locals and Morecambe Bay visitors alike: the award-winning Lone Wolf Bakery is expanding with a brand new café in Silverdale! Rachael Spence, the creative mind behind the bakery, is thrilled to announce the launch of The Wolf Cafe, set to open in late summer at the charming Wolfhouse site on Lindeth Road.

Rachael’s journey began during lockdown, when she started baking delightful cakes, cookies, and sweet treats from her home in Morecambe. Her passion quickly transformed into a thriving business, leading to the opening of Lone Wolf Bakery on Meeting House Lane in 2023. Fresh off a Taste Lancashire Award win in the Bakery, Pies and Pastries category, Rachael is ready to embark on this exciting new venture.

The Wolf Cafe promises to be a dog-friendly haven, welcoming both locals and visitors to enjoy its cosy atmosphere. Rachael shared her excitement on social media, saying, “After weeks of hints and speculation, I am over the moon to announce that yes, I am expanding the business!” She added, “This beautiful spot has held a special place in my heart since I moved here in 2016. It’s where I began baking after the birth of my daughter and where I met my fiancé.”

Lone Wolf Bakery will continue to delight customers with its signature bakes, which will also be available at the new Silverdale café. The Wolf Cafe is currently hiring for various positions, including cook/chef, baristas, and part-time and seasonal staff.
