The festive spirit is alive and well in the charming village of Quernmore, as St Peter’s Church prepares to host its much-anticipated annual Christmas Tree Festival. From December 5th to 7th, this beautiful country church will transform into a twinkling wonderland, with Christmas trees adorned by the creativity and generosity of local businesses, individuals, and primary schools.

Visitors can enjoy the festival during the following times: Friday, December 5th, from 10am to 5pm; Saturday, December 6th, from 10am to 5pm; and Sunday, December 7th, from 11am to 4pm, following the family service at 10am. This service, held amidst the festive trees, warmly welcomes everyone to join in the celebration.

Throughout the festival, refreshments will be available, adding to the cosy and inviting atmosphere. A special treat awaits on December 5th, as primary school children fill the church with the joyful sound of their singing.

For those seeking a moment of peace and remembrance, a special reflection and prayer session will be held on Sunday, December 21st, at 2pm. This is a time to celebrate and honour loved ones, embracing the true spirit of the season.

The festivities continue with a traditional carol service around the crib on Christmas Eve, December 24th, at 2pm. This beloved tradition is followed by a Christmas Day Holy Communion at 9:30am, offering a serene and meaningful start to the holiday.

As the community gathers to celebrate, Lancastrian Estates wishes everyone a joyous and heartwarming Christmas season. For those considering a move in the new year, our expert team is ready to assist with all your property needs. Merry Christmas from all of us at Lancastrian Estates!
