Share article

Celebrating 40 years of delighting taste buds, a beloved Lancashire ice cream parlour is marking this milestone with exciting new flavours and a grand celebration. This family-run gem, cherished by locals, is rolling out a host of sweet surprises to commemorate its four decades in business.

The anniversary brings with it two delectable additions to the menu: Birthday Cake and Caramel Chocolate. These mouth-watering flavours are available in cones, tubs, or sundaes, and can also be enjoyed as indulgent toppings on pancakes and waffles. But the excitement doesn’t stop there. The Birthday Cake flavour is set to make a splash nationwide, with a rollout planned from March through partnerships with major distributors, marking the business’s most extensive distribution yet.

Rob, who runs the family business with his brother Phil and sister Anna, is thrilled about this milestone. Anna manages the café within the parlour, ensuring every visit is a delightful experience. To celebrate, a 40th birthday bash is planned for March 20 at the farm, inviting the local community to join in the festivities. The site will also welcome visitors throughout the half-term holidays, offering a chance to savour both the dessert and ice cream parlours.

In a heartwarming gesture, Rob is dedicating this year to charity efforts. A fundraising initiative for Children with Cancer UK is underway, featuring a vending machine on-site with all proceeds going directly to the charity.

With a packed calendar of events, new products, and community initiatives, this year promises to be one of the most memorable yet for this Lancashire favourite. Here’s to 40 years of sweet success and many more to come!
