The village of Nether Kellet sits around two miles from Carnforth and has plenty to offer. Nether Kellet Community Primary School has been rated "outstanding" by Ofsted and the village also offers a village store, church and pub. Carnforth, with three supermarkets and plenty of independent retailers, is not far if you require more and there is good access to the M6, Kirkby Lonsdale and The Lakes. Lancaster centre is just a 15 minute drive.
Bridge Road is a quiet, residential road on the edge of the village with fields to one side. At the end of Bridge Road there is access to the village primary school and the local nursery runs from the Village Hall, just around the corner. With so much on the door step and great transport links too this is a great family location.
This semi detached cottage really is packed full of character. From the rear bedroom you look out over rolling fields to the Lakeland hills and yet you can step outside the front door and stroll into the heart of the village. Beams to the ceiling, a beautiful original fireplace and cosy feel combine to create the perfect country cottage ambiance. The rear extension addresses the one draw back that most cottages have - space. There is space here. Plenty of space with an additional family room where French Doors open to the rear garden - perfect for entertaining family and friends. The sleek, modern kitchen diner is just the place to impress and to relax. There is a separate utility room and ground floor WC. Upstairs four bedrooms and a modern bathroom mean space for everyone. There is on street parking to the front and the current vendors also have an arrangement to park to the side. This is paid for annually.
